Wear&Care

Welcome to Izzieye! Whether you’re a first-time wearer or a seasoned pro, this guide will help you safely and comfortably enjoy your circle lenses. Follow these steps to ensure a seamless experience and keep your eyes healthy and beautiful.

Before You Start

  1. Consult Your Eye Doctor:
Before wearing circle lenses, visit an eye care professional to ensure they are suitable for your eyes. This is especially important if you have sensitive eyes or require prescription lenses.

  2. Wash Your Hands:
Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling your lenses. Dry them with a lint-free towel to avoid transferring dirt or fibers to your eyes.

  3. Check the Lenses:
Inspect your lenses for any damage, such as tears or scratches. If you notice any defects, do not use them.

How to Insert Your Lenses

  1. Place the Lens on Your Finger:
Remove the lens from its case and place it on the tip of your clean, dry index finger. Ensure the lens is not inside out—the edges should curve upward like a bowl.

  2. Hold Your Eyelids Open:
Use your other hand to hold your upper eyelid open. Use the middle finger of the hand holding the lens to gently pull down your lower eyelid.

  3. Insert the Lens:
Look straight ahead or slightly upward, and gently place the lens onto your eye. Avoid blinking immediately—close your eye slowly and blink a few times to help the lens settle.

  4. Repeat for the Other Eye:
Follow the same steps for the other lens.

How to Remove Your Lenses

  1. Wash Your Hands:
Clean your hands thoroughly before touching your eyes.
  2. Look Up and Pull Down:
Look upward and use your middle finger to pull down your lower eyelid.
  3. Gently Pinch the Lens:
Use your thumb and index finger to gently pinch the lens and remove it from your eye. Avoid using your nails to prevent damaging the lens or your eye.
  4. Store or Discard:
If you plan to reuse the lenses, place them in a clean lens case filled with fresh contact lens solution. If they are disposable, discard them as instructed.

Tips for Comfort and Safety

  1. Follow the Wearing Schedule:
Do not wear your lenses longer than recommended. Daily, monthly, or yearly lenses each have specific usage guidelines.
  2. Use Proper Lens Solution:
Always use contact lens solution to clean and store your lenses. Never use water or saliva, as they can introduce harmful bacteria.
  3. Avoid Sleeping with Lenses:
Unless specifically designed for overnight wear, remove your lenses before sleeping to prevent eye irritation or infections.
  4. Replace Your Lens Case:
Change your lens case every 3 months to maintain hygiene.
  5. Listen to Your Eyes:
If you experience discomfort, redness, or blurred vision, remove the lenses immediately and consult your eye doctor.

Caring for Your Lenses

  1. Clean Daily:
After removing your lenses, rub them gently with solution to remove any debris or protein buildup.
  2. Store Properly:
Always store your lenses in a clean case filled with fresh solution. Replace the solution daily, even if you don’t use the lenses.
  3. Avoid Water Contact:
Keep your lenses away from water, including showers, swimming pools, and hot tubs, to prevent contamination.

At Lumeelens, your eye health and satisfaction are our top priorities. By following this guide, you can enjoy stunning, comfortable circle lenses while keeping your eyes safe and healthy.
